Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design, deployment and optimization of automation across transportation and warehousing operations.

You will specify and integrate robotics, conveyors, sortation, and control systems, and develop PLC and WCS logic. In this role you will partner with operations, IT and vendors to deliver new sites and retrofits, manage projects end-to-end, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and deploying automation in logistics or warehousing.
• Strong PLC and WCS programming knowledge.
• Ability to integrate robotics, conveyors and sortation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment and optimization of automation in transportation and warehousing operations.
