Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of automation across transportation and warehousing operations.

You will specify and integrate robotics, conveyors, sortation, and control systems, develop PLC and WCS logic, and use data to improve throughput, accuracy and safety. You will partner with operations, IT and vendors to deliver new sites and retrofits, manage projects from concept through go-live, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience leading design, deployment and optimization of automation in logistics.
• Strong knowledge of robotics, conveyors and sortation systems.
• Proficient in developing PLC and WCS logic for warehouse operations.
