Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC in Rockville, VA, is seeking a Senior Engineer, Software Automation to design and program high-performance automation systems used in diagnostic product assembly, inspection, and reagent dispensing. This hands-on role blends software, automation, and hardware work across R&D, Manufacturing, and QA teams.

You will work with industrial equipment, robots, motors, controllers, sensors, and automation platforms to support new product development and existing

Qualifications

3+ years of automation equipment software design.
Experience with industrial robots, motors, controllers, and/or sensors.
3+ years of programming with C#/.NET or C++/Java.
3+ years of PLCs, Ladder Logic, or Structured Text.
Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/EE preferred.
Strong software development and problem-solving fundamentals.
Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Hands-on engineering across automation software and hardware integration.
Develop, test and validate automation software for diagnostic manufacturing.
Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing and QA to support new product development.
