Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automation solutions that boost manufacturing performance, reduce downtime, and enable scalable production. You will act as a technical expert for automation systems, controls architecture, and robotics integration, supporting projects from concept through installation and production launch.

You will work with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Project Management to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
5-7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting industrial automation in manufacturing.
Experience with automation equipment design, controls engineering, and robotics integration.
Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Design automation equipment and systems including controls, robotics, electrical systems, software applications, and machine integration solutions.
Review customer/manufacturing/project requirements to meet specs, timelines, and budgets.
Create engineering designs, schematics, control architectures, and equipment documentation.
Support installation manuals, operating procedures, and user documentation.
Ensure designs support manufacturability, reliability, and scalability.
