Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Principal Engineer, Automation to lead design, programming, and troubleshooting of site automation systems across production equipment and building automation. You will manage capital and expense projects and deliver modifications to existing systems.
Required is a Bachelor's in Engineering or Control Systems with relevant experience, plus hands-on capabilities in PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and CAD tools.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Control Systems with four years professional experience.
Responsabilidades
- Manages capital and expense projects ensuring sustainable growth of site automation technologies
- Maintains building automation system including lifecycle management, modification and troubleshooting in compliance with SOPs
- Researches and evaluates potential automation projects to determine feasibility
- Provides data and proposals to management to guide site investment strategy
- Develops and implements site automation improvement initiatives
- Acts as automation and controls subject matter expert on large capital projects
