Job summary

Orise seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to provide technical leadership for complex industrial automation solutions across PLCs, DCS, SCADA, BMS, Edge, MES and data systems. You will guide projects from survey and scope through design, testing, commissioning and training, mentoring teams along the way.

The role requires 10+ years deploying industrial automation, familiarity with Rockwell/Aveva/Siemens, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience deploying industrial automation solutions.
Experience with design specifications, software development and commissioning.
Experience with industrial network infrastructure and IIoT.
Knowledge of Rockwell, Aveva or Siemens platforms; formal certification preferred.
Familiar with agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement process, utility and building control systems in support of manufacturing operations.
Lead a project team for development of functional specs and detailed design for hardware and software solutions.
Define project scope and prepare estimates.
Perform site surveys and lead requirements definition.
Lead installation and start-up of systems remotely or at the customer site.
Develop the project plan, test plan, scripts, protocols, and reports.
Coordinate and review technical design and configuration activities.
Lead testing and qualification activities with proper documentation.
Ensure design changes are logged, documented, and estimated.
Report to the Project Manager on progress and issues; provide post-implementation support and training.
