Job summary

PerkinElmer’s Project Farma is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer (cGMP) to lead automation and digital systems on life sciences projects for a nationwide client base. The role emphasizes technical delivery, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate patient-focused therapies.

Candidates should have 5–15+ years in GMP automation, be willing to travel domestically, and reside in one of Project Farma’s primary markets.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Regulatory or related discipline OR equivalent experience.
• 5-15+ years of Automation and Digital Systems experience in GMP life sciences (biotech, pharma, ATMP).
• Willingness to travel as required for client project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for assigned project teams and foster inclusive environments.
• Lead medium-to-large projects and manage client communications and scope.
• Develop project execution and configuration strategies for automation projects.
• Mentor engineers and monitor emerging technologies for strategic impact.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, EHS and review deliverables for quality.
