Job summary

Planet DDS is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to design, ship, and own production-grade agentic workflows on Snowflake (Cortex Agents, Cortex Analyst) and Claude (Cowork, Code, Skills, MCP). You will build evaluation, observability, and governance that deliver measurable ROI and partner with data engineers and stakeholders.

The role suits a senior, autonomous engineer who translates business problems into scalable tech solutions, delivering end-to-end from concept to production and adoption

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in software engineering or applied AI.
• 2+ years building production deployments of agentic AI systems with measurable outcomes.
• Experience productionizing LLM-based systems with observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale production-grade agentic workflows on Snowflake using Cortex Agents and Claude, integrating with internal systems.
• Implement multi-agent patterns with human-in-the-loop controls for high-risk writes.
• Own the AI execution layer end-to-end: prompt/skill architecture, orchestration, evaluation, observability, and tool creation.
