Job summary

Robert E. Mason & Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Delivery Manager to own the automation scope for large data center projects. You will lead a team across PLC/SCADA, SIS, IT/OT, and I&C domains, guiding execution from concept through completion.

The role requires 5+ years in capital projects with 3+ years in leadership, strong communication, and travel up to 50% to NC/SC/GA/VA/TX as needed. PMP and ISA/IEC knowledge are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in large scale capital projects, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of ISA and IEC standards.
• Experience in building automation or data center industry.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% during design/development and up to 50% during commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of automation and hardware engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of automation scope within projects.
• Support development of project schedules with milestones and key predecessors.
• Drive resource plans and loading curves aligned with FAT schedules.
• Develop scope estimates and budgets; monitor variances with project controls team.
• Advise customers on technology selection and project execution strategies.
• Manage risk and escalate issues to the project team with mitigation plans.
• Resolve complex technical issues across disciplines, scopes, and vendors.
• Act as Owner’s Agent to ensure vendor deliverables meet client requirements.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction with services.
