Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, machine controls, or custom equipment development.
• Proven experience designing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, motion control, industrial networking, and machine safety systems.
• Experience reviewing and developing electrical schematics, I/O documentation, and controls-related documentation.
• Proficiency with engineering tools, test equipment, and version-control practices.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, integrate, and support automated machinery and manufacturing systems from concept through customer support.
• Develop and maintain controls software for PLCs, HMIs, motion, vision, robotics, and data acquisition.
• Architect control system solutions considering cost, reliability, and long-term supportability.
• Lead system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer-site startup activities.
• Create and maintain controls documentation, including schematics, I/O lists, and software docs.
• Own controls deliverables across projects, align with scope, budget, and customer requirements.
