Job summary

Bolder Industries seeks a Lead Automation and Controls Engineer to provide enterprise-level leadership for instrumentation, process control, and automation across multiple chemical manufacturing sites.

You will govern corporate standards, support high-impact capital projects, and ensure safe, reliable operation of control systems for hazardous processes, balancing site needs with standardization and lifecycle optimization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related discipline.
8–12+ years of progressive automation and controls engineering experience within chemical manufacturing or petrochemical facilities.
Experience with DCS platforms and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Lead design and lifecycle management of instrumentation and control systems for chemical processing units, utilities, and offsites.
Develop and maintain control philosophies, FDS, and alarm rationalization documentation.
Oversee FAT/SAT, commissioning, startup, and post-startup optimization.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for hazardous chemical operations and RCA analyses.
