Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience designing, building, and programming automated special machines.
• Experience to design a complete machine controls system from scratch.
• Proficiency with PLCs (Siemens TIA Portal preferred) or Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500.
• Cognex Insight experience.
• AutoCAD Electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, troubleshoot, and maintain automated special machines.
• Work with various departments to meet production needs.
• Guide and mentor lower-level technicians.
• Design complete machine controls systems from scratch.
• Create electrical drawings and design safety circuits.
• Create PLC programs and robot programs.
• Set up vision cameras and servo drive motors.
