What we're looking for?

We are seeking a Senior Automation & Controls Engineer with significant experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge robotic automation systems. You should be comfortable with PLCs, vision, sensors, actuators, and end-to-end component integration, with a track record of building, launching, and sustaining production automation and robotic systems on real lines. Bonus points if you have a strong systems-level understanding of software modules and their interfaces in typical robotic applications, and are a strong coder or roboticist beyond just controls.

What you'll do:

• Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions leveraging our AI models for various real-world problems.
• Develop automation solutions to assist with large-scale robot data collection and testing to help us improve our AI.
• Collaborate with robotics and machine learning engineers and scientists to integrate our existing robotic stack into production environments.
• Take ownership of the controls aspect of hardware and software integration, ensuring quick and robust actions.
• Work closely with a flat, collaborative team, reporting directly to the founders.
