Job summary

StepStone is seeking a Senior Associate for Business Automation Solutions within its DATS group. You will be a hands-on architect guiding system structure, deployment on Kubernetes, and productionization across PHP, React, and Python stacks.

You will own deployments, lead DevOps practices, review work for architecture and security, and mentor analysts while coordinating cross‑team delivery in Jira.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering, with production ownership and leadership.
• Proficiency in Python, PHP and React; ability to read, review, and write code.
• Strong Kubernetes and DevOps capability including Helm and CI/CD.
• Ability to review work and enforce architecture and code-quality standards.
• Strong communication and consulting skills; comfortable guiding non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with teams to productionize AI-assisted and prototyped work.
• Own deployment and intracluster networking: Helm charts on Kubernetes.
• Lead Kubernetes/DevOps practices for deployments and release safety.
• Engineer production-quality code across PHP, React, and Python on partner teams.
• Review partner work to enforce standards before production.
• Advise on end-to-end problem solving and drive shared frameworks.
• Coordinate cross-team delivery in JIRA; assist QA with testing goals.
• Mentor analysts and raise engineering standards across teams.
