Job summary

Capital One is seeking a motivated professional to join the Finance Risk Management (FRM) team as a Senior Analyst. The role develops and performs independent testing of controls across Finance Lines of Business (LOBs) in accordance with the Enterprise Control Standard.

The Senior Analyst partners with stakeholders to support FRM’s objective of maintaining an effective risk and control environment. This hybrid role requires experience in control testing, auditing, and scripting in Python or SQL,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
At least 2 years of experience in Control Testing, or Auditing or a combination.
At least 1 year of experience in automated and hybrid control testing.
At least 1 year of experience assessing script/code logic in Python and/or SQL.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple meetings with LOBs to set testing expectations and deliver results.
Engage Risk Advisors and LOBs to assess the control environment.
Test Design Effectiveness and Operational Effectiveness across LOBs and document results.
Align control testing with LOBs on expectations and best practices.
Assess regulatory and business process adherence and impact of changes.
Document and implement process enhancements.
