Nucor Rebar Fabrication Southeast in Lexington, NC, is seeking a detailer to advance its newly launched bar mill projects. You will master the RebarCAD detailing system, coordinate with engineers, and ensure drawings meet contractual requirements.

You’ll work in a 100,000-square-foot facility near Winston-Salem, contributing to safe, efficient project delivery. The role demands a CAD drafting certificate, at least six years of rebar detailing experience, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum six years of experience detailing rebar using a CAD-based detailing system.
• Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting from an accredited school or college or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety programs and standards.
• Independently detail and coordinate complex projects.
• Verify drawings, dates, specifications, and addenda for contractual accuracy.
• Communicate with A/E, steel placer and customer on project questions.
• Enter drawings into the drawing tracking system and manage material delivery data.
