Job summary

McCluskey Chevrolet Buick GMC in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician for our satellite service facility at 435 E. Galbraith Rd. This role focuses on advanced diagnostics, precise repairs, and exceptional customer service in a technician‑driven environment.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no Saturdays and guaranteed hours plus additional earnings for productive time. Medical, dental, vision, and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience with diagnostics.
• Advanced knowledge of automotive electrical and computer-controlled systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and repair databases.
• ASE Certifications (A6, A8, or L1) or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on vehicles using scan tools and testing.
• Identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues.
• Diagnose and repair systems including engine, brakes, suspension, HVAC, and electrical.
• Interpret DTCs, wiring diagrams, and TSBS.
• Communicate findings with service advisors and customers.
• Complete repairs correctly the first time.
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs.
• Document steps and labor in the shop management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace.
