Job summary

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Technician in Illinois for our Inspection Center. Hours are 5:00pm–4:00am, Monday through Thursday (4-day week).

Pay ranges from $21.50 to $32.50 hourly with overtime at 1.5x and a $1 shift differential, plus a $6,000 sign-on bonus. You’ll perform a full range of automotive repairs—from light maintenance to heavy engine work and diagnostics—on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Ability to perform general to complex repairs on various makes/models.
• Familiar with diagnostics on electric and hybrid vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs from light maintenance to heavy engine work and diagnostics.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues on vehicles.
• Repair wheel bearings, axles, and climate control systems (AC/heater).
