Job summary

Fausak Tires & Service is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to reliably diagnose and repair customer vehicles, supervise and guide qualified technicians, and ensure service excellence. The role requires transmission of complex repairs, adherence to MAP guidelines, and alignment with dealership and manufacturer standards.

The position requires ASE certifications or equivalent experience, a valid license, and willingness to work a Monday–Saturday schedule in a full-service auto center

Qualifications

• Must have automotive technician/mechanic experience.
• ASE certifications accepted in lieu of experience.
• Ability to demonstrate use of computerized diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license in the work state; out-of-state licenses must be transferred within 30 days.
• Must pass MVR screening for eligibility to drive.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles according to certifications/experience.
• Perform work outlined on inspection/repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Carry out complex and heavy-duty repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical stakeholders.
• Recommend essential services and document recommendations in the customer file.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
• Align with company policies and values; accommodate Mon-Sat schedules.
