Job summary

Chapel Hill Tire is seeking a part-time Senior Level Technician in the Chapel Hill area. You’ll diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, mentor apprentices if desired, and contribute to a high-performing, customer-focused service team.

Qualifications

• Senior-level technician with strong diagnostic skills (3+ years preferred).
• ASE certifications a plus or willingness to earn them.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues (engine, electrical, drivability, HVAC, suspension, brakes).
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and follow proven repair processes.
• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and support fellow techs.
• Take ownership of your bay, your work, and your results.
• Potential to mentor apprentices and raise shop standards.
