Job summary
City Auto Sales in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose problems, perform quality repairs, and keep the shop moving efficiently. This is a full-time, in-shop position with steady work and a team-focused environment that values experience.
You'll work a steady mix of repairs and maintenance, handle challenging diagnostics, and take ownership from start to finish. The role includes strong pay per flag hour, health/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401(k) match, PTO
Qualifications
- 8+ years of automotive technician experience.
- Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Own professional tools.
- Ability to work a rotating Saturday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns.
- Performing complex repairs and troubleshooting.
- Completing preventative maintenance and scheduled services.
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying needed repairs.
- Communicating clearly with service writers and other technicians.
- Participating in daily shop meetings.
- Maintaining an organized and efficient work area.
- Helping support less-experienced technicians when needed.
- Following shop procedures and maintaining high repair-quality standards.
