Job summary

Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM New Port Richey is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. You will perform diagnostic and repair work on a variety of vehicles, collaborate with Service Advisors and Lead Technicians, and maintain accurate Repair Orders while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years automotive service technician experience required.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• ASE Certification(s) a plus.
• Must supply own tools for general maintenance and repair work.
• Electrical vehicle experience a plus.
• Diesel vehicle experience a plus.
• Ability to work weekends a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Service Advisors and/or Lead Technician to review Repair Order, understand vehicle concerns and diagnose service or repair needed.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to obtain appropriate parts.
• Perform basic computerized including programming and coding.
• Perform parts replacement of trim items inside the vehicle without damage.
• Maintain time management for warranty documentation/payment.
• Be certified for warranty repairs.
• Accurately document all repairs and/or testing on Repair Order.
• Communicate if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within time.
