Job summary

Jobot is seeking a permanent Senior Automotive Service Technician on an onsite role in the Northeast market. The position pays $45-$50 per hour and requires 5+ years of experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, especially Chevy, Honda, and VW, using advanced diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in automotive service required, preferably in a dealership or large shop.
• Proficient with Chevrolet, Honda, and Volkswagen models.
• ASE certification or pursuing it.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, focusing on Chevy, Honda, VW.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity.
• Conduct inspections and test drives to verify repairs.
• Explain complex technical information clearly to customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop following procedures.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and share knowledge.
• Log work performed and coordinate with service advisors and parts.
