Whip Inc is seeking an experienced Liability PD Appraiser in Maryland to lead property damage evaluations from inspection to final appraisal. You will perform in-person vehicle inspections, review third-party estimates, and collaborate with claims and operations teams to reach well-supported settlements.

You will handle total loss assessments, ACV considerations, salvage valuations, and coordinate with repair facilities to ensure accurate, timely resolutions aligned with company guidelines.

Formación

• 8–10+ years of automotive property damage appraisal experience.
• Hands-on in-person vehicle inspections and damage assessments.
• Experience with total loss evaluations and settlement recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of repair procedures, labor rates and parts pricing.
• Proficiency with CCC ONE, Mitchell or Audatex platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-person and virtual inspections to assess damage and determine repair costs.
• Prepare, review and validate detailed repair estimates using standard platforms.
• Evaluate repair methods, labor, parts pricing for accurate estimates.
• Identify unrelated or prior damage and resolve estimate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with body shops and appraisers to finalize estimates.
