Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Senior Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! customer service by helping customers select the right automotive parts and solutions. You will work on inventory, feature promotions, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience.

You’ll collaborate with store teams to meet sales goals, maintain store operations, and ensure safe, friendly service for customers across shifts. This role offers growth opportunities within an essential automotive retailer.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Basic automotive parts knowledge required.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise.
• Flexible full-time schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, overtime.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience and meet sales goals.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Follow safety policies and use PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Product Knowledge & Installation Services – Stay up-to-date on automotive parts and assist with wiper blades, batteries, and bulbs installations.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from vehicles and recommend solutions.
