Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to serve DIY customers with expert parts knowledge and strong store systems skills. The role supports advanced automotive knowledge, parts sourcing, and in-store services to meet sales and service goals.

Primary duties include advanced identification, troubleshooting, and project assistance for DIY customers, plus inventory and store operations support as a key holder. ASE certification or readiness is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in auto parts sales or hands-on DIY service.
• Ability to read and interpret parts catalogs and safety instructions.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals and deliver customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store Cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
