Qualifications

• Completion of CarMax New Associate Orientation Training – Operations.
• Ability to meet performance standards and workstation certifications for all related roles.
• Skilled in reading, interpreting, and recording data accurately and performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Proficient in color discernment and paint application techniques.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Required to use CarMax-provided respiratory protection. Must be clean-shaven to use half-face respirator.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete paint applications, including color matching and mixing for a quality finish.
• Execute minor repairs such as sanding and grinding to restore vehicle surfaces.
• Maintain paint preparation standards to ensure vehicles meet CarMax quality guidelines.
• Collaborate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives with your team.

• Keep all equipment and tools in optimal condition, ensuring safety and efficiency.
