Crash Champions in Spokane, WA is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and work with the team to keep on-time status. You will perform quality repairs and coordinate with colleagues to ensure efficient repair progress.

The role requires operating a frame machine, knowledge of manufacturer repair processes, I-CAR welding certification, and supervision of apprentices; a background check is required.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to access vehicle and fenders.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Directs the work of an apprentice and explains procedures to assistant.
