Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking a Senior Auditor to perform moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi’s risk and control environments in coordination with the Audit team. You will apply in-depth subject matter expertise to contribute to the development of new techniques and processes for the area.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Subject matter expertise regarding audit technology’s application.
• Effective project management skills.
• Effective influencing and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex audits, including drafting audit reports and presenting issues with practical solutions.
• Draft audit reports and present issues to the business while discussing cross-functional solutions.
• Complete assigned audits within budgeted timeframes and costs.
• Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks.
• Contribute to development of audit processes improvements, including automated routines.
• Apply internal audit standards, policies, and regulations to provide timely audit assurance and influence scope.
• Develop effective line management relationships to ensure understanding of the business.
• Operate with limited supervision and exercise independence of judgement.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and team members.
• Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi's reputation and assets, escalating and reporting control issues with transparency.
