Wipfli in Denver, CO, is seeking an Audit professional to join our hybrid team and deliver high-quality financial statement audits for diverse clients. You’ll participate in planning, test internal controls, and research accounting issues while guiding staff and interns.

The role requires a bachelor’s in accounting, CPA preferred, 1–3 years of experience, and the ability to travel up to 50%. We value clear communication, integrity, and strong client relationships within a supportive firm culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Audit financial statements, quarterly financial information, and clients' annual reports.
• Participate in pre-audit planning to assess risk of material misstatement.
• Identify accounting and audit issues and perform research.
• Test internal controls, policies, and procedures and make recommendations.
• Perform audits under GAAS, GAAP, PCAOB, AICPA standards, and SOX.
• Build relationships with clients and associates.
• Teach, train, and develop incoming staff/interns.
