Software Placement Group is seeking a Senior Auditor for a growing CPA firm in Scottsdale, AZ. You will lead audit, review, and compilation engagements, supervise staff, and build strong client relationships.

The role requires knowledge of GAAP, mentoring, and delivering high-quality service. CPA or CPA candidate status is required or preferred; Masters in Accounting is a plus. This is an on-site, full-time position with growth and exposure to diverse clients.

Overview

A growing CPA firm with multiple Arizona locations is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its team. This role is central to delivering high-quality audit, review, and compilation services while building strong client relationships and mentoring junior staff.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with clients by gathering information, resolving problems, and providing recommendations for process improvements
• Lead client audit, review, and compilation engagements, including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits
• Demonstrate knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statement presentation
• Supervise, train, and mentor associates on the audit process
• Research and analyze financial statements and audit-related issues
• Acquire a working knowledge of clients' businesses
• Perform other accounting services as assigned

Required qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting
• 3-6 years of audit experience in public accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate
