Job summary

Vermont State Auditor's Office seeks a Senior Auditor – Performance Analyst to enhance government accountability through comprehensive performance audits. You will examine health care, human services, transportation, education, and public safety operations while using data analytics to underpin findings and recommendations.

Preferred candidates hold an advanced degree with prior performance auditing experience, strong documentation, and collaborative, deadline-driven work habits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, public administration, or related field or higher AND three (3) years or more of professional auditing experience applying GAGAS or other auditing standards framework.
• OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, public administration, or related field AND five (5) years or more of professional auditing experience applying GAGAS or other auditing standards framework.
