Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking Senior Auditors to join our client’s Audit practice in Bethesda, Maryland. The Senior Auditor executes audit engagements, supervises staff, and prepares audited financial statements for nonprofits, employee benefit plans, and government contractors.

The role plans fieldwork, reviews, and reporting; begins with remote client interaction, then on-site engagements as needed. Travel includes 10% international and 20% domestic.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in public accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA license or actively pursuing CPA exam parts
• Not-for-Profit and/or Employee Benefit Plan audits preferred

Responsibilities

• Execute audit engagements and supervise staff
• Prepare audited financial statements (GAAP/GAAS)
• Plan scope, select test transactions, and prioritize work
• Travel 10% internationally and 20% domestically to client sites
• Develop client relationships and contribute to business development
