Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor's (or Master’s) in Accounting with 3–4 years of public accounting experience; CPA certification or active candidacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or Master’s preferred).
• 3–4 years of progressive public accounting experience.
• CPA certification or active candidacy preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as CCH Engagement, Creative Solutions Fixed Assets, PPC Checkpoint Tools, and QuickBooks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute diverse accounting and auditing assignments with minimal supervision.
• Mentor staff accountants to ensure high-quality work and standards.
• Prepare workpapers and financial statements in compliance with GAAP or OCBOA.
• Assist in planning and scheduling client engagements and deadlines.
• Provide recommendations for improving internal controls and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients to facilitate smooth engagements.
