Qualifications

• Healthcare industry experience is required (3–5 years).
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. Certifications preferred (CIA/CPA/etc.).
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, HIPAA, CMS conditions of participation.

Responsibilities

• Plan engagements with clear scope, risks, and objectives.
• Evaluate internal controls and financial information for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare concise, well-organized workpapers per standards (IIA, Yellow Book).
• Draft evidence-based audit findings and actionable recommendations.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with clients and audit team; minimize disruption to operations.
• Perform on-site audits across Harris Health facilities and administrative offices.
• Mentor junior staff and pursue continuous improvement in tools and techniques.
