Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Auditor for the Global Payment Network, in a hybrid role with partial in-person office days. You will manage the team’s internal enhanced review program, lead audits, and develop planning documents while coaching staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or military experience, plus multiple years in auditing, accounting, and compliance, with CIA/CPA or related certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years in auditing, accounting, financial analysis, or compliance.
• 2+ years of leading audits and auditor-in-charge responsibilities.
• CIA/CPA or relevant certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead small audits or significant components of larger audits related to the payment network.
• Develop engagement planning documentation and audit programs.
• Design and execute audit procedures to verify internal controls.
• Prepare documentation to support work performed, including draft findings.
• Establish and maintain client and team relations; communicate audit progress.
• Plan and prioritize work across the team; take on additional tasks as needed.
• Provide coaching and feedback to audit staff.
