Gerson, Preston, Klein, Lips, Eisenberg & Gelber, PLLC is seeking an Audit Senior to join its growing Audit team in Florida. The role offers opportunities to work directly with clients, take on greater responsibility, and advance technical and leadership skills.

You will perform financial statement audits, reviews, and other attestation services, assist with planning and budgeting, and engage in research of complex accounting matters while building lasting client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation is required; Master’s preferred.
• GPA 3.3 or higher is preferred.
• CPA license or CPA eligibility preferred.
• Strong analytical, technical, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, agreed-upon procedures, and internal control testing.
• Assist with audit planning, budgeting, and financial statement preparation.
• Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing matters.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management.
• Manage deadlines and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with team members on client service, professional development, and business development.
