Job summary

The Siegfried Group is expanding its accounting and finance professionals’ team in Dallas, seeking candidates with CPA or progression toward CPA and external audit experience from a Big CPA firm. You will work on high-impact projects for Fortune 1000 clients, including IPO readiness, mergers and acquisitions, and carve-outs.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of external audit experience, strong GAAP/FASB knowledge, and a proven ability to deliver value-added services while building client

Qualifications

• 2+ years of external audit experience from large CPA firms, including one busy season as a senior
• CPA or progression toward CPA is preferred
• Corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation is a plus
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including proficiency in GAAP and FASB rules
• Demonstrated career progression and job stability
• High energy and enthusiasm, with a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations
• Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments, industries, and roles
• Ability to learn quickly, make an immediate impact, and provide value-added service to our clients

Responsibilities

• Support external audit engagements for large clients, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
• Assist in IPO readiness, mergers & acquisitions, carve-outs, and other financial projects
• Collaborate with clients and teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and timely completion
• Contribute to process improvements and regulatory reporting efforts
• Build and maintain client relationships to support business development

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of external audit experience from large CPA firms with, including one busy season as a senior. (Big 4, little 3 experience preferred) Combo candidates with external audit and corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation are also considered
• CPA or progression toward, preferred
• Corporate accounting and/or finance experience at a large public corporation is a plus
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Services Board (FASB) rules and standards
• Demonstrated career progression and job stability
