Job summary

MedTeam Staffing Inc. seeks a Senior Auditor in Beachwood for a hybrid, full-time role. You will lead diverse accounting engagements, mentor staff, and prepare workpapers and financial statements in line with GAAP or OCBOA.

You’ll plan client engagements, meet deadlines, and offer practical internal control improvements. The ideal candidate has a CPA or active candidacy, 3–4 years of public accounting experience, and strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting.
• 3-4 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
• CPA certification or active candidacy is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute diverse accounting and auditing assignments with minimal supervision.
• Guide and mentor staff accountants, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to professional standards.
• Prepare comprehensive workpapers and financial statements in compliance with GAAP or OCBOA.
• Actively participate in the planning and scheduling of client engagements, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Provide insightful recommendations for improving client internal controls and operational procedures.
• Communicate effectively with clients to facilitate seamless and minimally disruptive engagements.
