Summary :

Global Internal Audit (GIA) is recruiting for a Senior Auditor to execute a risk-based audit plan, providing value-added recommendations to improve processes and controls at Newell Brands. The candidate should demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills, maintaining high ethical standards while auditing global operations, strategic initiatives, and third-party arrangements. Responsibilities include financial, operational, and compliance audits, risk and control assessments, and monitoring policy adherence. The Senior Auditor will interact with senior management and utilize analytical tools such as Excel and PowerBI.

GIA aims to develop critical skills among team members. The Senior Auditor will participate in annual training, departmental meetings, and gain exposure across various business segments and functions.

• Interview stakeholders to assess process controls and define audit scopes.
• Enhance audit approaches with learnings from previous audits.
• Design audit programs following IIA Standards.
• Identify gaps, recommend improvements, and develop action plans.
• Align with management on observations and actions.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings effectively.
• Participate in departmental projects and manage multiple projects agilely.

Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or CPG experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, CA, CIA, CISA are preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP, SOX, business law, and regulations required.
• Excellent English communication skills; fluency in Spanish, Mandarin, or Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong presentation skills and executive experience required.
• Data analysis and process flowcharting skills preferred.
• Experience with SAP / BEx, Hyperion, Ariba is a plus.
• Ability to travel 25-30%, domestic and international.
