Job summary

Spatial Front, Inc. seeks an Audit Team Lead to guide a team responsible for audit readiness, evidence management, and remediation in a complex PeopleSoft HCM and payroll environment within a secure federal defense setting.

You will coordinate across government stakeholders, auditors, and technical teams to ensure complete, accurate, and auditable data with strong process documentation and control validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years in audit readiness, financial statement audit support, IT audit, internal controls, or enterprise system assurance.
• 2+ years leading teams or major audit workstreams.
• Experience supporting DoD or federal audits with auditor coordination and remediation tracking.
• Strong understanding of enterprise HCM, payroll, or ERP transactions and control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise audit analysts responsible for audit readiness, evidence collection, and remediation activities.
• Develop and manage integrated audit support plans, calendars, trackers, milestones, and quality reviews.
• Coordinate with government leadership, independent auditors, process owners, and technical teams to resolve evidence gaps.
• Maintain process narratives, control descriptions, risk matrices, and data lineage to demonstrate transaction processing.
• Oversee evaluation and testing of IT controls including access, change management, and audit logging.
• Manage audit findings, corrective action plans, and closure packages with root-cause analysis.
• Assess impact of releases and changes; maintain a controlled audit repository and leadership dashboards.
