CLA is seeking an Audit Senior to join our Higher Education practice in Washington. You will lead university client audits from planning through completion, managing staff and budgets, and preparing financial statements with disclosures.

• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage day-to-day audit activities for university clients from start to finish, including budget, planning, fieldwork, staff direction and financial statements disclosures.
• Review client accounting and operating procedures.
• Develop and assess internal controls design and implementation.
• Prepare financial statements and disclosures and reportable condition letters.
• Communicate technically with staff, management, and clients clearly.
