Job summary

Weaver is seeking an Audit Manager or Senior Manager to lead and manage audit engagements for commercial entities under PCAOB standards. You will act as the primary client contact, ensure high-quality audit delivery, and supervise engagement teams throughout planning, fieldwork, reporting and completion.

The role requires 6+ years in public accounting with significant PCAOB exposure, experience with SEC registrants, and strong ICFR/SOX knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
• CPA is required and 6+ years of public accounting with PCAOB exposure.
• Experience auditing SEC registrants and working with 10-K/10-Q filings.
• Strong knowledge of SOX 404 and ICFR testing.
• End-to-end audit experience across planning, fieldwork, reporting and completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements for commercial entities per PCAOB standards.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring high quality audit delivery.
• Supervise teams, manage timelines, budgets and relationships.
• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting matters and research.
• Oversee planning, risk assessment, fieldwork and reporting.
