Job summary

Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, NV is seeking an Internal Audit Manager to lead risk-based audits across gaming and non-gaming departments. You will ensure compliance with Nevada regulations, MICS, Title 31/AML, and SOX, while coordinating with regulators and external auditors.

Reporting to the Corporate Director of Internal Audit, you will develop audit strategy, oversee workpapers, and drive timely corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of internal or external audit experience in the Gaming Industry.
• Strong knowledge of Nevada gaming operations, systems, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of Colorado Regulations a plus.
• CIA, CPA, CISA or CFE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and executing a risk-based annual audit plan aligned with Nevada gaming regulations and property-level risk assessments.
• Maintain audit methodologies consistent with industry standards and NGCB expectations, internal controls over financial reporting, and IIA Practices.
• Lead audits ensuring compliance with Nevada MICS, NGCB rules, internal controls, and property procedures.
• Review audit workpapers and evidence for completeness and adherence to standards.
• Ensure findings are clearly supported and reported timely.
• Monitor NGCB rules compliance and related regulations.
• Support Title 31/AML compliance through testing and collaboration with Compliance.
• Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations, and Management responses.
• Obtain responses and corrective actions from Management and track implementation.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
