RSM US LLP is seeking a driven Audit Senior Manager for our National Construction Practice. You will oversee audits for construction clients, lead engagement teams, and ensure high-quality deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have CPA/CA credentials, 9+ years in public accounting, and a deep understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and FASB. Travel ~25% and a discretionary bonus are typical components of the role.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
• CPA or CA Certification
• 9+ years of public accounting experience
• Experience auditing construction and related organizations
• Understanding of GAAP, GAAS and FASB regulations
• Proven track record building profitable client relationships
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple engagements

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high quality client service including auditing financial statements and board communications
• Assess risk and communicate audit procedures to engagement teams
• Understand and utilize RSM’s Audit Methodology
• Manage multiple engagements and monitor milestones
• Coach Senior Associates, Supervisors and Managers and review work product
• Identify technical accounting matters and coordinate with firm specialists
• Maintain client relationships and provide insightful business advice
• Develop others through training and career development initiatives

Education

BS/BA Degree in Accounting

CPA or CA Certification

CCIFP (Preferred)
