Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Audit Manager with CIRA assurance experience to lead a portfolio of community association engagements in Florida. You will manage engagements from planning through completion and serve as the primary client contact with boards and management.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of public accounting experience, an active Florida CPA license (or ability to obtain), and strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Direct CIRA assurance experience required.
• 10+ years of progressive public accounting assurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active Florida CPA license or ability to obtain Florida licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple CIRA audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Oversee engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, quality, and profitability.
• Review financial statements, workpapers, disclosures, and audit reports.
• Provide technical guidance on CIRA accounting, reporting, reserve funding, assessments, and related matters.
• Serve as a primary client contact and present findings to boards and management.
• Lead, coach, and develop engagement teams.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and grow the CIRA practice.
• Stay current on professional standards and Florida regulations affecting community associations.

This role is ideal for an experienced public accounting professional who enjoys client relationships, team leadership, technical accounting, and managing engagements from start to finish.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to condominium associations, homeowners’ associations, cooperatives, and other community-based organizations while helping support the continued growth of the practice.

What You’ll Do

• Lead multiple CIRA audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.

What We’re Looking For
