Senior Audit Manager

We are working directly on behalf of our client, a leading national professional services practice, as they aim to grow their market share in an increasingly competitive landscape. They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Audit Manager to join their Fort Worth team and play a key role in their growth journey.

About the Role:

As a Senior Audit Manager, you will lead audit engagements end-to-end, ensuring compliance and delivering valuable insights to enhance controls and processes. You’ll manage and mentor a team, work closely with senior leadership, and contribute to building the firm’s market presence.

Our client is at an exciting stage in terms of growth, where you will receive full mentorship from Partners and, as the firm grows, you will become a key part of the firm's strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee audit projects from planning to reporting and follow-up
• Manage and develop a team of auditors, fostering their professional growth
• Identify risks and control weaknesses, recommending practical, risk-based solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate findings and support business improvements
• Ensure audit activities meet industry standards, regulations, and company policies
• Support the development of the annual audit plan grounded in risk assessment
• Build relationships across the firm and client base to drive business success

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; CPA, CIA, or similar certification preferred.
• Audit Managers with over 7 years of direct audit experience are invited to apply
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and internal controls
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Experience within professional services is a plus
