The position requires a CPA, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and 6+ years in public accounting with audits, reviews, and compilations. Washington compensation ranges reflect local market rates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in public accounting with emphasis on financial statements, audits, reviews, and compilations.
• CPA license required and willingness to travel to client sites, including overnight travel.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control all phases of audit engagements for delegated clients.
• Coordinate staffing, timing, and execution of assurance engagements to deliver value.
• Lead engagement decisions and keep principals informed of progress.
• Develop and mentor staff; oversee recruitment and professional development.
• Prepare engagement letters, discuss scope with clients, estimate fees, and secure signatures.
• Review internal controls and audit programs; monitor budgets and deadlines.
• Maintain client communications and present findings to principals and clients.
