Job summary

Americo seeks an experienced audit professional to lead cross‑functional audits, develop and implement audit strategies, and guide a dedicated team. You will prepare management reports, interact with senior leadership, and stay ahead of evolving control frameworks and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration across departments and external auditors is essential. The role emphasizes strong data analysis, communication, and leadership, with opportunities to shape auditing practices within Americo

Qualifications

• 5+ years of audit, information security, risk, or compliance experience.
• Knowledge of risks, controls, and frameworks in a business environment.
• Insurance industry knowledge and regulatory awareness including internal controls.
• Data management & analysis using common data tools.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to document conclusions clearly.
• Leadership ability to guide others and review work to standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audits across the organization (and potentially with IPFS).
• Assist in developing and implementing the comprehensive audit plan and strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments, associates, and team members.
• Manage audit team members assigned to scope; provide guidance and support.
• Prepare reports and deliver results to senior management and executive leadership.
• Stay current on control frameworks and compliance requirements; suggest best practices.
• Provide support to external auditors; prepare working papers for their standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
