Grassi, a leading accounting firm, is seeking an Audit Senior Associate in Park Ridge, NJ. In this role, you will manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance and quality standards while supporting healthcare and affordable housing clients. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and lead projects from planning to completion, contributing to our mission of exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3-5 years of relevant audit experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to travel and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years progressive audit experience.
• Previous experience in public accounting required.
• CPA license preferred or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Healthcare and affordable housing audit experience required.
• Ability to work additional hours and travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from initial planning to final deliverables.
• Manage client relationships and respond to inquiries.
• Supervise and mentor associates and interns.
• Review audit workpapers and financial statements.
• Evaluate internal controls to identify areas for improvement.
